Fully restored Dansette Major circa 1958.
 
The covering is the original colour of blue and chequered grey, in very good condition with only one blemish on the outside of the lid. 
This model is a 1958 Dansette Major. A brand new stereo or stereo compatable cartridge and mains lead have been fitted.
The cabinet fittings have been replaced with same brand identical.
This record player has been cleaned inside and out, the mechanism has been completely de-greased, cleaned, re-greased and lubricated. The volume and tone controls have been cleaned and are noise free. The amplifier has been serviced and any out of specification components have been replaced.
It has an original BSR auto-changer turntable that plays 7, 10 and 12 inch records at speeds of 16, 33, 45 and 78 RPM and can stack up to 8 records at a time.
Please remember that this unit is some 40 to 50 years old, there may be some marks, scuffs and other signs of wear that are to be expected on a machine of this age. More photos and close-ups are available on request.
